Minto Bridge Farm
OUR STORY
We started the work on this property in 1974 - it was all bush.
After almost a decade of hard work, clearing fields and moving buildings we finally moved here fulltime in 1982. We started out with 6 chickens - now there are over 500 in the summer! Over the years we have had many differend amimals living on the farm and despite the northern climate our growing season is not much shorter than further south and we are able to grow a great variety of vegetables.
In 2008 we were awarded the 'Yukon Farmers of the Year' for the outstanding contribution to the development of Yukon Agriculture.
